By accessing or using Kanvas, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. Description of Service

Kanvas is an AI-powered life assistant that provides task management, personal AI assistance through Kai, productivity tracking, and wellness monitoring. Our service is designed to help you organize your life and achieve your goals through intelligent assistance and personalized insights.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be at least 13 years of age to create an account

Child Profiles: Parents on the Family plan may create managed profiles for children under 13. Child profiles are controlled by the parent and accessed via PIN — children do not have independent accounts. See our Privacy Policy for COPPA compliance details.

4. Subscription and Billing

Kanvas offers various subscription tiers:

• Essential ($10/mo): AI-powered productivity that learns your rhythms
• Life ($20/mo): Full Kai experience with unlimited AI assistance
• Family ($30/mo): Coordinate your entire household with AI

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time, with access continuing until the end of your billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Upload malicious code or content
• Harass, abuse, or harm others through the platform
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission

6. AI Usage and Limitations

Kai, our AI companion, is designed to assist with productivity and organization. Please understand that:

• AI suggestions are not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.)
• AI actions require appropriate permissions and may be limited
• We continuously improve AI capabilities but cannot guarantee perfection
• You retain responsibility for decisions made based on AI suggestions

7. Intellectual Property

The Kanvas service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Kanvas and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create within the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kanvas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
